Exterior: This is a traditional building, which was originally an official palace for the Bishops of Down and is a fine example of 19th century Scottish baronial architecture. The hotel stands in 12 acres of beautiful secluded gardens and woodland.
Lobby: The lobby is medium in size and is very grand with many fine antique pieces of furniture, valuable paintings and elegant ceilings.

Each of the 105 guest bedrooms and suites are exquisitely decorated and tastefully furnished to provide a true feeling of calm and relaxation. Many of the rooms have wonderful views over the gardens and down towards Belfast Lough.

The restaurant has the capacity to seat 150 diners, serving both table d'hote and a la carte menus.
