Built in 2008, this stylish first-class hotel is practical and the perfect choice for business and leisure travellers alike. Offering 207 contemporary guest rooms including Family Suites, Business Class and Presidential Suite, the air-conditioned establishment welcomes guests in a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, cloakroom and lift access. By Car: from the north or south, take the A1 and then junction 62, signposted Durham, Consett. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit for the A690, signposted Durham, Consett. From the north it is the 3rd exit. At the Gilesgate roundabout, take the 3rd exit, signposted A690 city centre. At the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto the A690, signposted Crook, Consett. At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Millburngate. Turn left at the traffic lights onto Framwellgate Waterside (going under the shopping centre). Continue straight on along Framwellgate Waterside. Turn left into the hotel car park.
