Green Hotel

The resorts luxury Hotel dates back to the eighteenth century as a coaching inn. On the M90 north from Edinburgh the family owned Hotel has retained the reputation for warm hospitality and excellent service. The Hotel has an extensive garden, a courtyard cocktail bar, an elegant fine dining restaurant, a traditional pub, a curling rink and a delightful boutique. Guests can take advantage of the complimentary Leisure Facilities across the road as well as other activities available including Tennis, Loch Leven Heritage Trail and Cycle Hire. Rooms are spacious, luxurious and beautifully appointed.

Each of the spacious rooms comes with an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, a radio, Internet access and a double or king-sized bed. Central heating features as standard and all rooms afford fabulous views out over the extensive hotel gardens or the quiet, secluded courtyard and fountain.

Guests may select their breakfast and lunch from ample buffets; lunch and the evening meal may alternatively be taken à la carte or chosen from a menu. Special dietary requirements and individual-specific dishes can be provided. It is possible to book a half-board stay.

The hotel has a curling rink (September to March) on the grounds which can be used by guests and two 18-hole golf courses. Trout fishing can be organised on Loch Leven. Guests also have access to the leisure centre with indoor swimming pool, gym, sauna, steam room and hot tub at the sister hotel Windlestrae located across the road.

Travelling from the South (Edinburgh) and North (Perth) – from the M90 take junction 6 for Kinross. Take 3rd exit from the roundabout towards Kinross. Continue onto the B918 (Station Road). At the small roundabout turn left onto the B996 (The High Street). Continue forward onto The Muirs and you will find The Green Hotel on your left and The Windlestrae on your right.
