Deskripsi

This traditional and cosy guesthouse built in 1886 is located about 65 km from Aberdeen in the village of Ballater. Balmoral Castle, the holiday home of Her Majesty the Queen, is in the close vicinity. The Cairngorm Mountains are ideal to take a walk, the Lochnagar Distillery is more than worth a visit. This typical bed & breakfast has 24-hour reception.

Rooms
There are a selection of rooms, all excellent quality, with tea and coffee, video and satellite TV, and all are non-smoking. Most rooms have king size beds, but all have en-suite facilities and are beautifully furnished.

Directions, How to get there
It is situated 64.3 km west of Aberdeen on the A93. The hotel is on the Braemar road 228 metres from the tourist office on the right hand side. A sign is evident under the tree in the garden.

Located in Ballater, Aberdeenshire. Ballater has changed very little since Queen Victoria regularly spent so much time in her favourite castle at Balmoral. The village is ideally placed for walking in the Cairngorm Mountains, a peaceful drive around the Castle Trail, or a visit to Lochnagar Distillery or the Whisky trail beyond. Ballater Golf Club is within easy distance and famous courses at Carnoustie and St. Andrews are only a scenic drive from here.
