Renoir Hotel

This triangular-shaped historic landmark, built in 1909 and a hotel since 1928, was renovated and reopened as the Renoir Hotel in 1993. The hotel is centrally located and is easily accessible to all major tourist attractions, therefore, it is ideal for leisure travelers. NOTE: Please note that this is a smoke-free property.
Exterior: This is a European-style hotel in a historic landmark triangular-shaped building.
Lobby: The lobby is medium in size, decorated in European style with touches of gold ceiling beams and gold elevator doors.

The medium sized guestrooms (standard room size 158-164 sq. ft.) are spacious and comfortable. All rooms feature private bath-shower combination, color TV with remote control, complimentary cable service, telephone (with private customizable voicemail), armoire, desk with data port, some floors have wireless internet access, AM/FM clock radio, and in-room safe.

Hotel does not have a restaurant or a lounge on site.

The hotel is a 100% non-smoking building. Children under the age of 12 years stay free of charge.

From SFO Airport (Highway 101 North): from Hwy 101 North follow the Bay Bridge signs (Highway 80 East). Exit on Fourth Street. Take a left turn on Third Street. Go up five blocks to Market Street. Turn left on Market Street. Go past the Cable Car turnaround, and turn right on McAllister Street. From the Golden Gate Bridge (Highway 101 South): follow Hwy 101 South (Downtown) to Van Ness Avenue. Turn right on Van Ness. Turn left on Golden Gate Avenue. Turn right on Jones Street, and right on McAllister Street. From Oakland/Berkeley and the Bay Bridge: exit on Fremont Street (1st right hand exit after the bridge). Turn left on Howard Street (at the first stoplight). Go to Third Street. Go up five blocks to Market Street. Turn left on Market Street. Go past the Cable Car turnaround, and turn right on McAllister Street. Connection with both SFO and OAKLAND international airports by train (BART): 30 minutes from/to SFO airport, 45-55 minutes from/to OAK airport.
