The Olde Barn

Renovated in 2007, this family-friendly hotel maintains much of its original charm whilst providing the convenience of modern facilities. It is ideally located, and hosts 106 bedrooms, 11 meeting/conference rooms which accommodate from 2 to 300 delegates, free wireless broadband Internet access and a restaurant. Guests are welcomed into a reception hall with 24-hour check-in and check-out service. Facilities include lift access, a bar and a car park. Room and laundry services are on offer as well (additional fees apply).

Each of the en suite bedrooms is well equipped and tastefully decorated for a comfortable stay. Amenities include a hairdryer, direct dial telephone, TV set, Internet access, tea and coffee making facilities, an ironing set, a double bed and central heating. Some of the executive suites offer four poster beds and spa baths for that extra special treat. There are also a number of disability-friendly rooms available.

As the hotel restaurant is a member of Tastes of Lincolnshire, the food is legendary. Guests can dine in the atmospheric restaurant and try Lincolnshire tapas in the bar. In the morning, guests can enjoy a full English or continental breakfast.

The nearest airport is East Midlands Airport. From A1 North - Newark, go approximately 19 km south of Newark on the A1. Take a left-hand turn, signposted Marston (with a Texaco petrol station on the left). Follow the country road for about 1.6 km, and turn left into the hotel car park. From the A1 South - London/Stamford, go approximately 48 km north of Stamford on the A1. Continue until reaching Gonerby Moor (a Downtown and Boundary Mills store will be on the right-hand side). About 2 minutes up the road is the Texaco garage and sign to Marston. The turning for Marston is about 800 metres up the A1. Stay in the right-hand lane of the dual carriageway and cross over the A1. Follow the country road for about 1.6 km and turn left into the hotel car park.
