Al Falaj Hotel (Muscat)

The hotel's health and sports club is one of the best in the Middle East and it includes facilities such as 2 separate and fully equipped gymnasiums for ladies and gentlemen, including a jacuzzi, sauna and a steam room, 2 outdoor swimming pools, 1 squash court, 1 tennis court, a massage parlour (separate for ladies and gents) and qualified sports instructors. Overall this is a pleasant hotel with a central but quiet location.
Exterior: This is a white, modern, high-rise building, fitting with the bright surroundings of Muscat.
Lobby: The lobby is large in size with marble flooring. There is an area of seating and the large reception desk stands in the centre, in front of the entrance.

All the rooms are well furnished and equipped with international direct dial telephone, central air conditioning, television with Asian/Arab/European satellite transmission, mini bar, attached bathroom with bath tub/shower. All rooms are in good condition, despite the fact they are relatively basic. All rooms are medium in size as are the bathrooms.

The Tokyo taro, Japanese cuisine in Oman, has the traditional seating arrangements serving a wide range of Japanese culinary delights like tempura, sushi and sashimi in addition to the so popular teppan yaki. The Hotel also has Lebanese and Indian restaurant featuring live entertainment.

The health club of the hotel has two separate and fully equipped gymnasium with extensive facilities for ladies & gents each including jacuzzi, sauna and a steam room. The hotel also provides special coaches for swimming, tennis and karate.

From the Airport, take a left at the airport roundabout, then, the straight road and drive over eight roundabouts. After the ninth roundabout, drive straight and take a right immediately and another right at the junction. The hotel is located to the right approx.200 m from this junction.
