The lodge is on a beautiful parcel of unspoiled Bushveld and has an
African style combined with luxury, which gives guests a home away
from home feeling as well as a great 'bush' experience. The luxury
lodge consists of 30 fully serviced, traditional African style
thatched rondavels (standard 36 m², deluxe 40
m² and family rondavels). There are also 17 excellent
safari houses which are 160 m². The houses are situated
around the dam, where there is brilliant birdlife. Besides that
there is WLAN Internet available, a laundry facility, safe parking,
bar fridges, barbecues to hire, and security. There is also a
conference centre, a wedding venue, a sunken bar and a restaurant.
Guests are welcomed to the establishment in a lobby with 24-hour
reception and a hotel safe. The games rooms, TV lounge and kids'
club ensure guests entertainment. Bicycles may be hired onsite.
Rooms
Each accommodation unit is equipped with an en suite bathroom with
a shower, bath and a hairdryer. A safe, fridge, tea and coffee
making facilities, individually regulated air conditioning and a
terrace also feature as standard.
Restaurant & Food
The restaurant, with open kitchen, serves breakfast, lunch and
divine à la carte dinner. There is a breakfast buffet
every morning for all guests along with a menu at lunch time and an
à la carte dinner menu. There is the opportunity to
have a braai (barbecue) in the bush in the Kruger National
Park.
Activities & Sport
Guests may take a refreshing dip in one of the 2 splendid outdoor
swimming pools. Sun loungers are laid out for use. The Indaba
lounge and the special kids' programme offer a place for children
to have fun, watch television, and play games. The spa is also at
guests' disposal offering massages. The hotel organises safaris
within the Kruger National Park guided by experienced FGASA
qualified guides and in specially designed game viewing safari
vehicles. Guests may enjoy a bike ride.

there
From Johannesburg take the N1 to Pietersburg, and from there take
the R71, past Tzaneen and Gravelotte, to Phalaborwa. Follow the
signs towards Kruger National Park Gate - Phalaborwa. After
entering Phalaborwa, at the second set of traffic lights, turn
right. The lodge is situated on the right-hand side 200 metres
on.
