This city hotel is located on the south side of Edinburgh within easy reach of Edinburgh Waverley central station as well as many excellent public transport and road links, the Festival Theatre, the Queens Hall, the Playhouse Theatre, Holyrood Palace, and the Scottish Parliament. The city centre, and with it the famous Princes Street, is about 1 km from the hotel. Guests will reach restaurants and bars in about 500 m, and nightclubs in 700 m. Edinburgh Airport lies around 14 km away.

This great value two-storey hotel was renovated in 2005 and comprises a total of 22 rooms. Facilities include a lobby area and a bar. Those arriving by car may make use of the car park.

Rooms
The spacious, comfortable rooms have recently been renovated to a very high standard. Standard fittings include an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, satellite/ cable TV, tea and coffee making facilities, a double bed, and carpeting. The heating in the rooms is centrally regulated.

Directions, How to get there
Whether approaching from the north or south, the easiest was to find the hotel is to take the edinburgh city bypass to the Straiton junction. From there take the A701 towards the city centre. this will bring you to the Minto hotel, which is situated on the right hand side of Minto Street.
