The historical hotel is located in the heart of Taunton, the county town of Somerset, and just 3.6 km from the M5 motorway. Both Bristol and Exeter are just 45 km away and the train station is a 10-minute walk from the hotel (3 minutes by taxi). This hotel is a perfect base for exploring Devon and Somerset. The beach in Burnham on Sea is a 20-minute drive from the hotel. The closest airports are Bristol, which is roughly 58 km away, and Exeter, which is approximately 69 km away.

Exterior: Once a Norman Fortress the hotel has been welcoming travellers since the 12th century.
