This hotel stands in 38 acres of its own gardens and wooded Parkland fringing the banks of the river weaver. The front entrance gives sweeping views across lawns to a lake whilst to the rear, the terrace overlooks an impressive fountain. 4 kms to city centre 60 kms to the nearest airport (manchester) 7 km to the nearest station (crewe) 50 km to the nearest fair site (manchester)

This is an excellent, elegant hotel.
Exterior: This is a magnificent traditional building which was built in 1867 for wealthy landowner william Hilton cooke and when purchased from him in 1867, was changed from a Georgian mansion into a small chateau, giving the house the unusual continental character which makes it so unique today.
Lobby: The hotel lobby is elegant and gives an excellent first impression of the hotel. The decor consists of dark wooden furniture and a large oak staircase. There is a small seating area and an open fireplace.

Rooms
The 45 luxury rooms look out across the lawns and Parkland and are in excellent condition. The decor is very elegant with ornate ceilings and large drapes over the windows.

Restaurant & Food
The Victorian dining room is outstanding with mahogany panneling and Grand chairs and tables. There is an open fireplace and ornate plaster work on the walls and ceiling. A variety of dishes are on offer.
