This hotel is designed in a youth hostel style, which is open to
guests over the age of 18. It is simply equipped and yet still
manages to offer guests a number of amenities. The hotel has lift
access and a 24-hour reception, a newspaper stand, a small
supermarket, a bar, a pub, a nightclub and an air-conditioned
restaurant with a separate non-smoking area. There is a conference
room and Internet connection available for those travelling on
business. In their free time, guests may make use of the TV room
and the games room. There is a shop on-site selling theatre
tickets, travel passes, tourist information and most travel
essentials.
Rooms
The rooms are small and in fair condition with bright colour
schemes. The hostel has a vast array of different types of rooms,
(double rooms are not available) with up to 20 beds, most rooms
(including twins) are with bunk beds. Facilities are shared with a
maximum of ten other guests and bathrooms are in good condition.
However, the rooms do have their own small steel wash basins. Rooms
have combination key locks, rather than keys.
Restaurant & Food
The restaurant is on the ground floor and is decorated in the same
style as the rest of the hostel, with polished silver tables and
plenty of exposed metal work. The hostel also benefits from a
lively bar, game rooms with a pool table and game machines.
Activities & Sport
The bar is open until late each night and has a team that run
nightly events ranging from quizzes to karaoke. Cheap drinks and
lots of fun are guaranteed. Films are also shown every day in the
chill-out lounge (subject to charge).

Directions, How to get
there
From Heathrow, take the Piccadilly Line tube direct to Russell
Square (50 minutes). From Gatwick and Luton airports, take the
train direct to Kings Cross St Pancras. From Stansted, take the
train direct to Liverpool Street Station then change for the tube
to Kings Cross. Walking from Russell Square tube station: take
Marchmont Street and turn right at the traffic lights onto
Tavistock Place. The hostel is number 37 (5-minute walk). From
Kings Cross, take the Euston Road exit and turn onto Judd street
(O'Neils Irish pub on the corner), at the bottom turn right onto
Tavistock Place.
