This city hotel is situated in the elegant Bayswater area of London and has a superb location with excellent transport links with both Queensway and Bayswater underground stations nearby. The hotel is close to London's major shopping areas of Oxford Street and Knightsbridge. With popular Hyde Park just minutes away, the hotel is also convenient for explorers of the world-famous antique market at Portobello Road. The hotel is located in a quiet, residential garden square close to Notting Hill, a district offering an extensive choice of restaurants, pubs and bars.

As a unique feature, this hotel has a concierge that will be most happy to assist guests with any question or demand. On the whole this is a very pleasant, clean, and well-maintained property for its class. Ideal for those looking for a good standard,centrally located hotel but traveling on a limited budget.
Exterior: The hotel is converted from an old row of townhouses, which date back to the Victorian era. The facade is in excellent decorative order, painted in pale yellow.
Lobby: The lobby is small laid out with smoky blue carpets, the walls are painted in pale yellow and partly covered in eggshell floral wallpaper. The bar has been redecorated and both areas are bright and elegant.

Rooms
All rooms are en-suite and with central heating. In addition, they are fitted with a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable plasma screen TV and Internet access. Each room has a safe and a complimentary tea and coffee making facilities.

Restaurant & Food
Each morning the hotel's own coffee shop offers (for purchase) a café-style continental breakfast or a full English breakfast. The café remains open throughout the day and sells a selection of sandwiches, toasted paninis, hot chocolate, fair-trade coffees and teas as well as variety of soft and alcoholic drinks. In the evening, 1356 Bar and Restaurant serves continental food and snacks. 1356 late bar is a great place to relax with a favourite glass of wine or a cocktail.
