The hotel is set on the high street in Andover's lively town centre. The major local attraction is Stonehenge, which is just a short drive away. Also nearby is the Hawk Conservatory, which has a large number of birds of prey. The historic towns of Winchester and Salisbury are within 31 km, as are the trio of pretty villages known as the Wallops, and Wherwell with its timbered thatched cottages. Southampton Airport is some 47 km away, London Heathrow Airport is about 99 km away, London Gatwick Airport is about 130 km away and London City Airport is approximately 150 km from the hotel.

Originally a coaching inn dating back to the 15th century, the property is now a modern townhouse hotel. It is non-smoking throughout. Guests are invited to stay in one of the 21 luxury bedrooms. The hotel is a great place to live it up in modern surroundings, with a lively disco and late bar on Friday and Saturday nights. Further facilities include a lobby, a bar, Internet access and parking for those arriving by car.
