This eco beach establishment is decorated to reflect local life
i.e. with fishing nets, paddles and headboards in the rooms which
show the outline of a long tail boat. It is a family-friendly beach
hotel and was built in 2006. It comprises a total of 50 rooms and
facilities on offer to guests include a lobby area, currency change
facilities, a restaurant, conference facilities and Internet
access. Guests may also take advantage of the room and laundry
services and the bicycle rental. There is parking for those
arriving by car.
Rooms
The rooms are well-designed as well as spacious and comfortable.
The facilities on offer in the rooms include the unique decoration,
showing the Andaman people's way of life, for example lamp shades
made of bird cages and the unique beds in the form of a long tail
boat. They are equipped with individually adjustable air
conditioning, separate waterfall shower and bathtub, a day bed, a
personal safe with personal password, hairdryer, slippers,
bathrobes and an umbrella. Guests may also take advantage of the
daily maid service, a balcony/terrace, minibar, coffee and tea
making facilities, satellite TV and a wake-up service.
Restaurant & Food
A buffet breakfast is provided in high and peak seasons while an
à la carte breakfast is served in the low season.
Activities & Sport
There is a free-form outdoor swimming pool with a children's pool,
a sun terrace, a Jacuzzi and a pool bar. There is also Thai massage
as well as an external spa service which guests are asked to
reserve in advance. Sport enthusiasts can try their hand at diving,
canoeing and mountain biking.
Comments
The reception desk is open from 6 am to 1 am. Key collection is not
required, and guests can keep the key for their entire stay and
return it at the time of checking out.
Directions, How to get
there
Guests should take road number 4202 to Nopparat Thara Beach, which
is on Chong Pli, then Had Nopparat Thara Road and take the first
left turn into Nopparat Thara Soi 10 [also the entrance to Khong
Heang School], after that keep going another 20 m and take the
second left before entering Klong Heang school. Then continue for
another 100 m and make the third left turn before the curve. Go on
for another 100 m and the resort is at the end of this road. It
lies 800 metres from Nopparat Thara Beach and National Park and 1.5
km. from Ao Nang Beach. It is 28 km from Krabi airport.
