This is a European-style boutique hotel, offering an inner city location at an affordable price. The hotel offers a mixture of convenience, history, charm, elegance and tranquillity, with the building retaining much of its original grandeur. The elegant heritage accommodation provides a total of 15 bedrooms, it is centrally heated throughout and has great off-street car parking for 15 vehicles (fees apply). There is also a lobby and a laundry service for a fee.

As the property is a historical building the rooms are not all the same shape or size. They are all of a good size and finished to a high standard. All rooms have central heating, LCD tv's, and tea /coffee making facilities. Some of the rooms look out over the city and have excellent harbour views.

There is no restaurant on site, but included in the room rate is a complimentary continental breakfast served in the breakfast room.
