The hotel is situated a few metres from the historical centre of Taormina and a stone's throw from the main street (Corso Umberto), the congress centre (Palazzo dei Congressi) and the Greek Theatre. It overlooks the Bay of Naxos, the Mount Etna volcano, the public gardens and tennis courts. The Etna ski resort is about 35 km from the hotel, and the Corvaja Palace is around 100 m away. Guests can reach the Paradise Beach Club at Letojanni or the coast at Mazzaro in about 10 minutes by car. The Duca di Cesarò park is about 30 m from the hotel, and shops on Corso Umberto can be reached in around 10 minutes on foot. The Interbus station is about 200 m from the hotel, and the Taormina-Giardini train station is roughly 2 km away. Catania-Fontanarossa Airport is about 45 km from the hotel, while Palermo International Airport is around 250 km away.

This is a recommended property ideally located just a short walk away from the historical centre and the Greek theatre. Amongst its services the hotel also offers from mid june to the end of october a free shuttle service to its own private beach club, which also boasts a swimming pool with sea water and a lovely Mediterranean garden, all guests have freed entry to the hotel's private beach.
Exterior: This is a traditional building dating back to the beginning of the last century, it used to be a private villa and has been restored into a hotel by the current owner in more recent times.
Lobby: The lobby is medium in size with an adjoining seating area and bar area. It is furnished in a traditional and pleasant style.

Rooms
The guest rooms feature period furniture and offer every modern comfort. Each room has a bathroom with shower, bath and hairdryer, as well as a double or king-size bed. A direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV and a radio are included in every room, as are air conditioning and central heating. Each room comes with either a balcony, a veranda or a terrace.

Restaurant & Food
The Al Settimo Cielo à la carte restaurant is situated on the 6th floor of the hotel and has a 360° panoramic view over Taormina, the Bay of Naxos and the Mount Etna volcano. Here, it is possible to have a full buffet breakfast or candle-lit supper under the veranda's transparent roof.

Activities & Sport
The hotel has its own outdoor swimming pool (fees apply) with a poolside snack bar. Waterskiing, canoeing and pedal boating are offered, and guests can use the hotel's tennis facilities for a fee. Guests can also hire parasols for use on the beach. For fans of the fairway, the Il Picciolo golf club is approximately 3 km away.
