This charming historical hotel in the heart of the Old Town of Taormina offers a beautiful view over the bay of Taormina. Guests will find numerous restaurants, bars, shops and links to the public transport network right on the hotel's doorstep. The beach in Giardini-Naxos is around a 15-minute drive from the conference hotel and the city of Catania and its train station are roughly 50 minutes away. Built in the original building of a former Dominican monastery from the 15th century, it was transformed into a hotel in 1896 by Giovanni Rosso, Prince of Cerami. The hotel has since become the most famous monastery-hotel in the world. The air-conditioned historical hotel offers guests 105 rooms in total and welcomes them in a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe and lift access. Further facilities include a cafe, bar, restaurant, conference facilities and a car park. Guests may also make use of the Internet access and both room and laundry services.

Rooms
The rooms and suites are located in 2 different wings: the Garden Wing, built within the former 14th century convent and the Grand Hotel Wing, a marvellous building in liberty style, added to the hotel in 1896. Both reflect history and tradition without sacrificing modern comforts and conveniences. Each room is equipped with individually regulated air conditioning, a direct dial telephone, hairdryer, minibar, Internet access, satellite TV, private safety deposit box, and an alarm clock and radio. Each room additionally features an en suite bathroom with shower and bathtub, a double bed and a private balcony or terrace.
