A medieval inn right next to the Krämer Bridge has
been restored in 2006 and extended into a charming designer hotel
with 91 rooms. Facilities include a lobby with an air-conditioned
reception, a safe, lifts, a bar, 3 conference rooms, Internet
access and WLAN (fees apply). It houses the famous and excellent
"Zum Alten Schwan" restaurant. Room and laundry services are also
provided as well as bike rental and a playground. There is a secure
car park and a garage, both for a fee.
Rooms
The rooms radiate the flair of the Ligne Roset world of design: a
little bit more individual than usual, more lively and at the same
time functional. Top French designer Didier Gomez designed the
furniture in the rooms specifically for the hotel. The different
room categories, all perfectly appointed, come with individual air
conditioning and heating, WLAN, telephone, fax/PC plug, satellite
TV, pay TV, clock radio, desktop, minibar, a double/king-size bed,
bath or shower and a hairdryer. There are non-smoking rooms also
available.
Restaurant & Food
For centuries an inn at Krämer Bridge, the
restaurant "Zum Alten Schwan" now serves fine Thuringian and
international cuisine in a medieval setting. Today, the
restaurant's flair has completely changed compared to the former
inn. Formerly very rustic, the new interior now features a
feminine, elegant and strikingly graceful flair. Taste one of its
regularly changing special offers or choose à la
carte.
Activities & Sport
Enjoy the complimentary sauna or Jacuzzi after a relaxing massage
(fee on request) or try one of several beauty and cosmetic
treatments offered. In the surroundings guests will find the most
varied entertainment and sport activities, beginning with the ice
sport centre, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, pool halls,
bowling alleys, aerobics, horse riding, cycling/mountain biking,
minigolf and golf, table tennis, badminton, squash and tennis
courts (some of which incur an added fee).
