The hotel, which was renovated in 2007, features 388 rooms, suites,
and serviced suites spread across 37 floors. It is air-conditioned,
and has a lobby, 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel
safe, currency exchange facility, lift access, a café,
newspaper stand, mini-supermarket, hairdressing salon, 2 bars and
restaurants, an auditorium, games room and TV room. Conference
facilities, Internet and WLAN access, and room and laundry services
also feature. Parking facilities are available to guests arriving
by car.
Rooms
All accommodations are carefully designed to maximize comfort and
function. Guest rooms face onto the city, the 10,000 m² roof
garden, or the world's second longest river, the Yangtze. The room
size varies from 32 to 35 m². Domestic and international
direct dial telephone, high-speed broadband Internet access, a
remote-control TV with satellite channels, radio, an in-room safe,
individually regulated air conditioning and central heating all
feature. An en suite bathroom, hairdryer, double or king-size beds,
tea and coffee-making facilities and a fully-stocked minibar also
come as standard.
Restaurant & Food
The coffee shop in the hotel provides a wide selection of both
international and Asian specialties. With the accompanying live
music, the lobby bar provides a relaxing environment for perfect
afternoon tea, cocktail and snacks. The hotel also has a hot pot
restaurant which provides selection of traditional Chongqing spicy
hot pot, Ham and Broth and a variety of Chinese Herbal Broth.
