This establishment's buildings have been designed in typical Qing dynasty style. Built in 2008, the bungalow complex comprises a total of 8 accommodation units and features a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, a cloakroom, a laundry service and a bike hire service. The hotel also features a restaurant where guests can enjoy delicious Chinese dumplings and learn how to make them.

Each of the rooms introduces its honoured guests to the life of different distinguished emperors from Chinese history, as well as to the dynasties that they lived in. Visiting all the guest rooms will give guests a taste of five thousand years of Chinese history and culture. The rooms are en suite with a bathtub/shower and hairdryer. In-room amenities include a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, Internet access and air conditioning.

The restaurant also serves as an exhibition hall and an activity room. There are about one hundred pictures of original Beijing in the room, with English introductions about buildings and places of interest, cultural aspects and religions.

Guests will have the chance to sample the joys of local customs and activities, such as learning Chinese calligraphy, making flour-made dolls, blowing sugar-made toys, learning shadow boxing and Tai Chi, and having their pictures taken in clothes from the Peking opera.
