Facilities include Discovery Channel Camp for children, an
innovatively-designed casino, full-service spa, sports center with
fitness facility, 35 uniquely themed restaurants/lounges,
world-class marina, duty-free shopping, 18-hole championship golf
course (nearby), convention/banquet facilities, meeting rooms &
shops.
Exterior: The Atlantis Paradise Island is an expansive resort,
featuring the world's largest marine habitat, with 11 exhibit
lagoons. The Coral Towers, which is located in the middle of the
resort between the other two towers has 693 guestrooms in three
pink buildings: the 12-story Ocean Wing, the nine-story Lagoon
Wing, and the four-story Reef Wing.
Rooms
The Coral Towers Terrace Island view guest rooms are decorated in
soft Bahamian colors with an ocean motif. All guest rooms feature a
variety of amenities such as full balconies, sitting areas, and
service bars kept fully stocked on a daily basis. Coral Tower guest
rooms offer either a kingsize or two double beds. Other thoughtful
touches are standard as well, including irons, ironing boards, hair
dryers and in room safes for storage of valuables.
Restaurant & Food
The resort includes a large variety of restaurants, bars, and
lounges as well as poolside snack and beverage carts. Seagrapes,
located in the Beach Tower and open for breakfast, lunch and
dinner, serves dishes from around the world in an upbeat atmosphere
featuring views of a lagoon full of exotic marine animals. Beach
Tower Lobby Lounge for coffee drinks, bagels, pastries and
cocktails day and evening. The Cave Bar and Grill is an open-air
lunch spot featuring underwater views of marine life and serves
burgers, hot dogs, salads, ice cream. The following restaurants are
located between the Beach and Coral Towers: Villa D'Este - Northern
Italian cuisine under frescoed ceiling; Mama Loo's - specializing
in traditional Chinese recipes; Bahamian Club, a superb dining
experience with gourmet salads, followed by the finest cuts of
steak, including Chateaubriand for two. Casa 'Angelo, Nobu, Cafe
Martinique and Mesa grill, only allow children ages 12 and older,
there are no child menus and strollers are not allowed.
Activities & Sport
Ocean Club Golf Course is just a 5-minute drive away. The nearby
beach is sandy and comes with sun loungers and parasols (the former
subject to fees). There are 11 pools in total with poolside snack
bar, sun loungers and parasols (both subject to fees). Massage and
spa treatments, banana boating, water skiing, diving, catamaran
sailing, tennis, table tennis, aerobics (subject to fees), as well
as entertainment programmes for both young and old also feature.
Guests can also make use of the gym.
